A WORD ABOUT ORIGINAL PAINTINGS
Original oil paintings are created at the rate of about 4-5 pieces per year. The prices range from approximately $10,000.00 to $40,000.00. At the present time there is a considerable waiting list. A spot on this list is reserved by a refundable $1000.00 deposit.

This deposit is not a commission in the traditional sense.The collector has no input into any aspect of what the painting will be. The deposit merely secures a spot in line so that when the collector becomes first on the list, he will be the first to see and make a decision on the painting completed at that time.The deposit is completely refundable if the collector wishes not to purchase the painting for whatever reason. If the collector declines the painting, the deposit is returned and the painting will then be offered to the remaining people with deposits on file on a first come first served basis.

Mr. Chimento reserves the right to refund any deposit at his discretion. While on the deposit list the collector will receive a letter every several months with pictures of newly completed works and an update about how things are progressing as he or she moves up the list.
